1 tbsp whole spice cloves { if dried approx.1 tsp}
Barbeque Sauce
1 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup dijion mustard
2 tbsp worcestershire sause
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbsp ground cloves
1/4 cup {pure} maple syrup

Cooking Instructions
Place the ribs into a large stockpot and cover with tomato juice and enough water to just cover the ribs. Add the bay leaves, thyme sprigs, garlic cloves and whole cloves.
Simmer the ribs on med-low heat for 3 hours. As rib's simmer make sure to keep adding water to keep the ribs covered at all times.
In the meantime make the barbeque sauce.
When ribs are done and tender, transfer them from the pot to a large bowl. Brush with prepared barbeque sauce. Chill for at least 8 hours to firm, before grilling.
